Hi guys, just bought my first corvette too!

Hi guys, just bought an '81 vette this weekend. I've been in love w/ the c3s since i first laid eyes on them bout 25yrs ago (yup, i was 5yrs old when my love for vettes began). I know they're not the fastest or the best handling vettes that were made, but there's just something bout that body that i can't take my eyes off of! I do plan on doing some performance mods to it, but nothing wild and crazy.

Anyways, im from the Dale City area, so if anyone lives around here, definitely reply back to me and i'd love to chat w/ you all.

Im taking the vette to a shop in chantilly to get it checked out. Will probably do an initial complete tune up on it just to give me a little peace of mind. AFter that, im thinking new edelbrock heads, maybe a mild cam, intake manifold, hooker headers, and a new carb. That should give this mild mannered vette a good kick in the butt!

Anyways, just thought i'd drop by and say hello. I can't believe im finally part of an american tradition. The feeling's great!

Google 'Steeroids' when you have a chance - really helps C3s handle well from what I've heard. Your mod list sounds great!
