Good alignment shop???
Okay.. So, I've been to NTB and those sorts of chains. They NEVER EVER get the alignment right. NEVER...... Seriously, NEVER......
So, since I got my track car, I started going to local places that could put in custom specs for the track. Went to PBC and also want to P-tuning. Both familiar with miatas and both that pride themselves on preparing track cars. Well, you got it, same problem. Steering wheel doesn't get centered, the toe is off, the camber is not the exact same as what was requested. Very often, if they just test drove the car afterwards they would have known to begin with. But, it's just another commodity and they push it out the door. Well, I'm the one that gets stuck with a car that doesn't track right at 140 MPH..... So, I just did the COMPLETE front suspension on the track miata. New bushings, ball joints, tie rod ends, tie rods, shocks, control arms. control arm / camber setting bolts, etc. It's time to get another alignment, this time with zero toe and negative 2 degrees camber front and back. I'm tired of having to go back every couple of months and pay another $90 or so to get the alignment done once again. Can anybody recommend a shop that will do the alignment, to my specs, CORRECT THE FIRST TIME?? And one that will set it up so that I won't have to get it done over and over again after a couple of months of driving? Your help would be greatly appreciated because at this point, I'm just dumping $90 every couple of months to get the same work done over and over and it isn't even getting done correctly. I have to get this done soon because I want to be ready to go for the July 10th HPDE. THANKS!!!!!!!

Coupla recommendations...
Triangle Alignment - Triangle, VA. Good but expensive. They aligned my friend's GS vette when others couldn't get it right.
PTuning - Manassas, VA. Don't laugh. Yes, it's a ricer shop. But Ross Miller, who does a ton of racing/instructing, highly recommended this place for alignments. They aligned his T1 vette, as well as his other cars I believe. IIRC, he said the price was reasonable and they took their time. I'm sure others will weigh in with their favorites, too...

Yea, I went to P-tuning. They didn't get it right either.
Also, Cindy took her Porsche to P-tuning last week to get her new tires mounted and to have them balanced. She drove it home and found that both front tires had about a 1/2 an ounce off on each side. Can you believe that???? 1/2 an ounce is ALOT when balancing wheels. We took it back and they fixed that but when we went to inspect the wheels afterwards, the tech used an air gun to put the lug nuts on and scratched the hell out of all four wheels in the lug nut area. AND the tech threw the wheels up on the factory red brake calipers to rest them while he lined them up on all 4 sides and scratched the paint down to bare metal on all 4 brake calipers as well. They look terrible now. They may be used to working on honda civics and S2000s but if they have techs that will scratch the hell out of a customers factory painted brake calipers, screw the balancing up by 1/2 an oz per side AND use an air gun and scratch the wheels, I don't think I want my cars going back there. Just my 2 cents..... Too bad because they are only like a mile and a half from our house......

I've used High Tech Truck and Auto in Chantilly with great success, both the Corvette and the Miata. Tell Bobby I sent ya!
Now, I'm going to take the Vette to a new race shop in Hagerstown when I finish the steering rack install. The shop was recomended by a fellow racer. I'll let you know if it's worth the trip out there.
