They will work on any 1988 thru 1996 C4. Actually they will fit the early C4s also, they just look funny because they don't stick out all the way.

ACTUALLY:
They fit on a '92 when he was auto-Xing it for over 6 years. I never said they were good looking, they do not have the center ring inserts (which cover the lug nuts) and two of them still have worn out Yokohama A008Rs on them. My question for the prospective buyer would be is he/she positive that a 9.5" rim will work with the front suspension. Vette had the precursor to today's Z51 (FX03) which permitted 9.5" rims where the stock suspension for a '92 would only accept an 8.5".

I just have the stock (FE1) susp, not the FX3, current set-up for street is 255/45ZR17 front, 285/40ZR17 rear. I'm basically looking for a spare set of wheels to put on a good set of race tires (Hoosiers? Kumhos? still researching that). I don't need center caps.

If they'll work with my '94, I'd be happy to purchase them...

Laurie, I think those would be right up your alley for auto-xing.

1990 wheels would not have the center caps that covered the lug nuts - only 88/89 17" wheels did - The 90 wheels would have a small silver center cap and individual lug covers in silver.

Also, suspension options would not have any affect on fitment - As stated above, 88-96, the wheels will fit fine.

In 1993, they (GM) changed to the narrow wheels on base cars to stop the "tracking" of the front end on the road - wide wheels go right on w/ no ill effects.

Hope this helps [B-)]

Joe came by tonight to check the rims out. It has been determined that they will NOT fit on Laurie's Vette due to front suspension package (will not take a hard turn)... but they WILL fit (probably) Brad's Vette.

So Brad... you want 'em?
