Mike is running GT1 on Speed TV. Starting 14th. Race is getting ready to start.

Had to duck back into the pits. He'll have to start last.

SCCA run-offs at Mid Ohio. His throttle linkage was hanging up on the cold air induction system.

Speed interviewed him... talked about Intelligence Data, his vinery as well as his car. [:D]

I came in late and saw the last 1/2 hour of the race. Congratulations to Mike for even "making the show". This is an invitational event with the Best in SCCA! He's had a very successful rookie season in GT1 [=D>] [=D>] . For those of you who don't know Mike Canney, Mike was a member of NVCC around 2001 and owned a silver Z06. He tried a track event (HPDE) at Summit Point with Mike Sarver and me and was hooked. He then took a driving school, got his SCCA competition license, bought a "A Sedan" Mustang and went racing. This was his first year running a GT1 Corvette.

...and for those that don't follow it, GT1 is a HIGHLY competitive class. A lot of high $$$ competitors in the class also.
