Since NASA classes by driver skill not car preparation,
I could do Coilovers, S/C etc and still be able to attend
w/o doing rollcage/firesuit yes? I do intend to buy a
Firesuit during the season next year, but I cant
put in a rollcage as my insurance will drop me.

Learn to drive what you have first. Not trying to sound cocky, but in a stock Z06. I can drive past most cars with alot more Hp not because of power but because of better exit speed, apex, braking, etc. Its all about seat time. If I were looking to go fast in your car, I would look at Springs, sway bars, shocks, Say GM's T1 set up or Hotchkis
Good luck

This upcomming year ( 05 ) Im looking to do some serious
Suspension work. Swaybars in feb-march, coilovers near
the end of next year. Depending on how im doing by years end
I will be looking to add more horsepower in 06, since after
coilovers/swaybars there isnt much i can add to suspension.
The goal is to get as much out of suspension as I can this year.
And if Ive made the progress I hope to, Ill be ready for some
added HP in 06
