1987 Vette to be sold

My brother in law just told me about an 1987 vette that is being sold by the executor of an estate. The car had one owner and has 42,000 miles on it. The deceased owner had taken good car of it, I understand

I am getting more information but need to know what are the key items that I should find out about. I realized I need to know if its a hard top or convertable but what other key items?

Any idea of what the car is worth? After I get the information I will do a post on the forum before it is advertised to see if there is any interest.

Options, ie is it a Callaway? 4+3? Color?

What color, auto or manual, and if it is a coupe does it have a glass, solid or both tops.

Options, interior/exterior colors, mods, if any, condition of vehicle...any pictures he can post???

In the center console lid or one of the rear bin lids there is an option list for that vehicle.

A list of all the option codes would be wonderful.

1987 Coupe, Silver Auto, 40K miles, black leather interior, good tires, garage kept, one owner, local located in Maryland

They are looking to sell the car this month so if anyone is interested before the ad is done, let me know
