Chuck Pellerin also has a slide show of spectators, participants and cars from Spook he wants to present. It will be a great treat to review for the banquet attendees!

OK people, holidays are ovah, we have less than a month to the RSVP deadline. [:)]
Simply replying to this post, my e-mails, and registering on the event page is NOT enough. I need your checks (read: MONEY!) and RSVP (full names of who is attending, including yourself and all guest(s), please) BY FEBRUARY 1st!!! This is a pre-pay only event and we need to give an ACCURATE headcount to the Holiday Inn.
Like always, I will be TTT-ing this post every so often and sending more mass e-mails as reminders. But PLEASE be considerate and get your $ and RSVPs in ASAP and before the deadline.
Many thanks in advance...

Thanks for the bump, bro. *thumbs up* We have 84 people attending, and the headcount has been given to Holiday Inn. Thank you to those who responded on time. [:)]
Anyway, I've been getting lots of e-mails inquiring about attire for the event. Banquets generally mean semi-formal attire, which translates to suit or sportcoat and tie for the guys, and dress, skirt or pantsuit for the ladies. Hope this helps.
Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

I think it's incredible the way this club is turning around....I know that Laurie's doing alot of work on this (although some of it is hitting Paul and I in the head with baseball bats ), and it's great to see the membership responding as they are.

It *IS* English!!How many times has someone asked for directions to the "head"?
One of the best "Navy" things, is when I'm out somewhere with someone, and the evening is beginning to die down, or maybe is a bust, I can look at the other person, put two fingers in the air like the peace sign, and turn my hand in the air...."Turn Two"..meaning.."Let's go"

Folks? Your thoughts? Good or bad? Is there anything we can do to imrpove things? Is there something we should keep that was great?

I'm kinda shocked you would use the word 'bad' in the question. Poor choice of words. Granted it wasn't the Ritz-Carlton, but the budget is what it is.
I got positive comments at the event itself, but yes, I would like to hear back from everyone.

Laurie, FANTASTIC JOB. [=D>] June and I had a wonderful time and the event was seemless! Thanks for all the hard work!!
Now, there was one area that had an opportunity for improvement...but that will change when we get a new pres [:D] [:))] [:))]. Just kidding Jeff, you were a very gracious host. Next year's event has a lot to live up to.
