We had a blast today at the NVMC track day - my friend had never raced in the quarter mile, only road racing w/ his GS - he appreciated the $400 bucks for first place - it goes nicely w/ the 2 ft tall trophy [>:)]

The one guy w/ the marauder was a bit hacked 'cause he thought we were sandbagging - who knows, it was his first time at the track EVER - car had too much power for 1st into 2nd and then some... [B-)]

Sandbagging? [:D] There isn't any sandbagging when bracket racing. You either hit your 'Dial in' or you don't.

If you 'dial in' a 13.10 and can run in the 12s, thats just good driving if you can hit your 'dial in' without 'breaking out'.

Anyway you look at it, that is good driving. The NVMC'ers have some really good racers.

...my friend said he has a spare set of wheels and may get into drag racing more - now that he knows what it is all about [B-)]
When he began the day, he couldn't read the tree - by 8pm, he was $400 richer (must have been his great coach [:p] )
