KOOL! I posted over on CrossRoads and they are starting to register also. [;)]

I'm not sure how many are pre-preregistered due to 'team' participation by we've got 66 so far.

I've recieved two requests for running more than one heat. My answer has been get another heat number, and it will be listed as a fun run.

Before this gets out of hand, I'd better run it by you too! What do you think?

We can stick another 4 cars in each heat but I agree. The 2nd run (heat) must be listed as a 'FUN' heat ONLY! Otherwise we will have people jumping all over us about the points.

Suggest that we would appreciate them running their 2nd heats in Heat #4.

I registered, heat 4. Since its a parking lot I might as well run the POS Dodge.

I'll give Andrej the check on Friday.

Hector is running GS, he just bought a Suburu Impreza RS as his DD.

We have 108 registered now, only 20 slots available. At this rate we should have a 'sale out' for the event. We can squeeze in a couple of extras if we have to.

Monday, besides defining the course layout we probably need to cover the worker assignments, positions, etc.

You will definitely be getting your fair share of exercise on the 10 miler. Have fun and enjoy it. [B-)]

We'll see you at Spook!

Man, I give you credit for doing that. I don't think I could voluntarily put myself through that much pain. Especially with my darn right foot bothering me.

Good luck! *Sends tube of Aspercreme and an ice pack your way*

Hi everyone, I just registered for this autocross. My name's Mike and I drive a 91 Sentra SE-R and run in STS. Most of the autocrosses I have run at in the past have been SCCA run. Are there any particular rules your organization has that I should be aware of? Do you allow M rated helmets?

Anyways, I look forward to meeting you guys this weekend and if ya see me around feel free to say hi.

Hey Mike, welcome.

The autocross this weekend follows the SCCA guidelines. I recommend SA helmets but a M 95 rated helmet is sufficient. Nothing special or out of the ordinary in the way of rules.

We will have a drivers meeting and a workers meeting before each heat to go over some course specific details and general information for any first timers attending.

We also host autocrosses at Old Dominion Speedway in Manassas but those are based on NCCC (National Council of Corvette Club) rules.

We looking forward to this weekend and meeting a new bunch of enthusiasts.

See ya there.

Mike

Mike,

Got your registration info, you're all set. Our rules are pretty much the same as everyone else's. M rated helmets are ok.

Camera Equipment is ready, and will be there. Need to come up with some good publicity ideas for next year. I will be at the meeting next week to discus some of them. I would like to see a 25% - 40% rise in our own events. I think it can be done with some creative thinking.

I checked the weather this morning and they are calling for rain tonight, and tomarrow morning. I s this going to effect the auto-x or is this a rain or shine event? [[-o<] Just need to know if I need to bring an umbrella for my camera! [:D]

Rain or shine, rain or shine. They run regardless. So an umbrella for your camera would be a good idea. [:D]
