Zoel & I are planning to make the trek up to Lancaster area for the double low speed autocross that is hosted by the Lancaster County Corvette Club and the Central PA Corvette Club. It's next Sunday, Sept. 19th at the Oregon Dairy Farmers Market. We had 4 or 5 cars go up for their event in May at the Dairy. They had a great course set up. If anyone is interested, let us know ... we'll meet at the usual spot, Wendy's (by Koons at route 7 & 123) at 6:00 am. First event starts at 9:00.

No last week was a national holiday (in Canada). Do you mean you didn't get the memo? [;)]

Happy Belated Birthday Wanda! [=D>] Remember, we aren't getting older, we just getting better. [:D]

I got a kitchen pass. I'll be there, and with a little bit of luck I'll have the Vette! [:D]

Glad you hear you'll be able to come! I'm not sure what a 'kitchen pass' is, but if it works .... go with it! Hope you get the Vette on the road for autocross.

By the way guys .... thanks for the Birthday wish. I noticed in the newsletter that there were 4 NVCC members with the same birth date (9th). Must be a great month! Bringing in the new year, if you know what I mean (9 months later!)! [:*] [:x] [:">]

It is a colloquialism, one of the commonly used phrases that we like to use.

kitchen pass n. Permission from one's spouse to attend an event or go on an outing.

2. To evade an obligation; to avoid the performance of duty, as by running away to escape 'honey dos'.

Dayam, I'll be away, otherwise I would have loved the seat time and getting closer to the high speed license requirements.

Have fun!

I never thought about it but garage pass would work. [;)]

Of course considering the time of year (football season starting) I imagine that a "TV pass" would also work. [:D]
