Hello from Florida

Hello NVCC!

I know that I have been really lax in communicating but I think of you all often! I have been lurking around here and the corvette forum when I can. The new website is awesome and it looks like the group has been doing lots of good things lately. It's nice to see some familiar faces and cars on the website and in the newsletters. I hope you all had a great Spooktacular. I miss that event a lot... and all the fun and carnage. Any mint ZR-1's get crunched this year?

I talk to Mike Lindsey every once in a while who is down here in Orlando about an hour from me. He has a great new job and is doing very well. Everything is going great in Tampa for me and business is really picking up. Meaning, another vette around the corner! If you hadn't heard I had to sell the 2001 coupe and I'm still broken hearted.

I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying all the events. NVCC truly has some awesome perks and incredible members which most other clubs just don't have. If you're ever down in the area (Tampa), let me know. It's still hot here and the humidity is gone for now.

Hi Scott!

I was wondering when you were going to post.

I take it your diggin FL and it sounds like things are well with you. It sucks that you had to sell the Vette but it will make it all the more sweet when you buy another one. [:D]

We didn't have any crunched ZR-1's but we did have a crunched C5. It had to be flat bedded home. [:(] Other than that, we had the usual "offs".

Good to hear from you. [=D>] We may have to open an auxilliary branch of NVCC in Florida. It seems everyone who moves out of this area and away from our club goes to Florida - - the Grays, the Andersons, the Neltners, the Maseks, you, Mike, and our latest defector, George Skalkeas and his missus. Don and I are going to be different. We've purchased land in western North Carolina in the mountains for when we retire some years in the future. [:D] [:D] [:D]

Don continues to travel a lot with his job. In fact he is going back to Sanibel Island this month.

Sorry to hear about your car [:(] but I'm sure you won't stay out of the Corvette family long. [:))]
