Ok, the "2nd Annual NVMC Shoot Out" drag racing event, is scheduled for 25 October 2003, 8am-3pm at mason Dixon Drag Way, Haggerstown Md (NHRA Certified 1/4 Mile track). The cost to enter the competition is $40.00 (Drivers), $5.00 Spectators (Track Mandated). There will be 4 Racing Classes, (3) Bracket and (1) Heads Up- Race what you Brung all out class.
We are taking names for the event at the NVMC meetings, if you want to attend this event and have a chance to win Trophies and Cash, please send me an email and the following information :
1. Name
2. Make, Model, Year of Vehicle
3. Expected ET (Elapsed Time, you figure your car will run in the 1/4 Mile)
4. Payment Options (Paypal, Pay At Event, Mail ( C/O Cyril Coburn, PO Box 223644 Chantilly, Va 20153)
This event is open to ANY, Mustang, Corvette (Due to our great affiliation with the Northern Virginia Corvette Club, and Corvette Club of America), and Lightings.
Last years event drew 65 Cars and Trucks, you can check the pics out in our gallery at (www.northernvirginiamustangclub.com) Please reserve your spot early so we can set the classes up, the event is set up so that everyone, no matter how experienced, or modded a car is, all have a chance to win in the Money and trophy rounds (1-3 in each class, get money & Trophy) as well as a few other special categories. :-)
The event is 27 Days away so get your vehicle ready, and lets get ready to "RUMBLE"........We want to thank out sponsors , without you this would not have been possible, :-)
