The CrossroadRaciing gang are hosting their MWCSCC event on August 29th. This is the event that we (NVCC) needs to have a minimum of 5 people at to learn the ropes for our event that we are hosting October 24th.
This autocross is held on the parking lot at Rosecroft Raceway. We will need to be out there for most of the day to learn the MWCSCC's way of doing things and to help the Crossroads guys and gals.
Registration for this event is at http://www.autocrossers.com/cgi-bin/XROAD.pl
There are still 44 slots available if you would also like to run in this event. Cost to run is $20.00 for 3 runs. Starting times for the heats are: 9:30am, 11:00am, 1:00pm and 2:30pm

I'd love to go but that is my 31st Wedding Anniversary weekend. If I want to have a 32nd, I better not push it!!

Not a problem! I can understand that one. I could really use your help on October 24th when we are hosting the event though.

Sorry to hear you won't be there Ralph, I was looking forward to seeing you run on parking lot course! Oh well, maybe next time. You will certainly be better off spending your 31st anniversary with your wife. Good thinking!!!!
We just celebrated our 30th a couple of weeks ago, my how time flies when you're having fun!

George,
This is the parking lot autocross on the Rosecroft parking lot for the MWCSCC. You heard a little about it last night at the council meeting.
The primary purpose purpose for putting on this event with the MWCSCC was to get the club more well known in the metro area. It will also bring some addition funding into the club's coffers.

Mike,
When registering for the MWCSCC event, how do we class our car? What would the equivalent be for NCCC class IIE?
Are you running the event, and if so what heat are you in? Can you help me out?

Wanda,
Your car would be classified as BSP (B Street Prepared). I'm registered for the 1:00 heat.

Wanda,
I'm in the 11:00am Heat. It probably doesn't matter which Heat you register for. The 11:00am Heat is full but there are still spaces in the 9:30am, 1:00pm and 2:30pm Heats.

All right James! From what I can tell (SCCA classes are even more confusing then NCCC) a pure stock C4 Corvette (excluding Calaways) should run in AS.
Any mod to include competition tires puts a C4 into BSP. Extreme mods put it in either BP or BM (can't figure out which).
We will need the following areas:
Tech - Andrej/Mike/Zoel
Timing - James/Mike
Registration - Wanda/James
Course Layout - Zoel/Andrej
If you would rather work a different area let me know as the above are just suggestions.

Thanks for your help guys. We're registered. I'm in heat 3 (1:00) and Zoel is in heat 4 (2:30).
The worker schedule that Mike set up looks good, I can help out elsewhere if need be once registration is over.
Looking forward to trying Rosecroft.
