The body work is still lingering on. The door jambs are espeically difficult and need to be restored on the drivers side. Had a choice to rush the job and get it for Carlisle, or do the job correctly and miss the event. I chose the later, simply because the car must be done correctly. So I am scratching Carlisle for its first show. Outside chance it could be at the Sterling Car Show on 5 September, but I would put my money on Ocean City as its first and last show for this year. I will keep you posted, its a disappointment [:(] , but when you put so much time, effort and money into such a big project as this, you can't rush it. In addition all the travel I have been out limits my time to work on various items too. I am a little behind on restoration of the smaller components (rear lights, bumper hardware, wheels, etc.) Keep all informed...

I'm sorry to hear that Collin. I would have done the same thing though. It doesn't matter what it is, it doesn't pay to rush through it.

Do it right the first time and there won't be a 2nd.

Keep faith and be patient, it'll be all the sweeter when it is ready.

We won't be at Carlisle nor OC this year. Maybe we can have a private viewing when it's finished. [;)]

Sorry to hear that, Collin. We all know how much you were looking forward to showing the fully restored '63 at the show. [:((] [:((]

I agree with Judy. A private showing perhaps? [:D]
