German Dinner Cruise Set!!!!!

I called down to the Bavarian Chef on Saturday and confirmed our reservations for dinner, and everything is set! The owner, and head Chef is looking forward to serving us a delightful meal with great hospitality as he put it. I reserved room for 35 people so that means I have 6 extra slots availible. If you are interested please, please, please, please let me know in advance to make sure that there is slots availible. Just as a reminder, if you have any radios please bring them and any extras along with you so that everyone can participate in the trivia game on the way down! I have some really nice prizes to hand out along with goody bags made up for each car. This is a rain or shine event, so we hope to see your all there! [:)]

I found out from Judy that the club email address does include the prospective members. She adds them into the group address as soon as they become prospective members. So the email will get out there for all to see.

I guess to get maximum participation in an event from now on we should probably
1. create a Post here
2. create an entry in the events calendar
and
3. send out a club email with the link for the event to register and a link to the post for discussions.

Its more work for the event coordinator but it should make life real easy for the members. All they have to do is "point and click". [:D]

Yea, I agree. I had a couple of people mention to me that they didn't here about the cruise until they got the e-mail.
If Jim is going to snail-mail the newsletter this month to everyone he may want to remind everyone about the website. Several members either didn't know about it yet, or just plain forgot about it. Just an observation from this end. [B-)]
