DINNER CRUISE UPDATE!!!

OK Folks, here it is!
So far we have what looks like 8 cars, or 15-16 people signed up so far for the cruise with a little over 3 weeks left (Aug 7th) before I need to call in the reservations. For an added twist to this cruise, and the help of some friends who will be mentioned at a later date there will be goody bags made for the first 25 cars that register on the events page. I also plan on holding a corvette trivia game on the way down for some nice prizes over the radios. So if you have a radio and extras please bring them so that everyone can join in the game. This promises to be a fun night, and a full belly for all! If anyone is planning to go alone, and has an extra seat please post it on this thread so that if someone has a 3rd party and is looking for an extra seat we can help them out.
The route has been planned, and directions are typed up for each car and will handed out at the drivers meeting. There are a couple of good regrouping roads for those that may get seperated, and a stop point about half way down to take on fuel if needed or just to stretch.

Uhmmm, I'm confused. Are we talking about the All Vette Cruise on Aug 7th or the German Dinner Cruise on Aug 21st?

Not to steal George's thunder but... the date for getting reservations in is August 7th. The date of the Dinner Cruise is August 21st.

You are correct. I have to confirm the reservations no later than August 7th, and the cruise is on Saturday August 21st. [;)]

To clarify:

There are two cruise events in August.

1. German Dinner Cruise...on August 21st, but must RSVP by August 7th...hosted by George Kerns.

2. 15th Annual Corvette Cruise-in...on August 7th, it is a caravan into a VERY large corvette show in Manassas...I am hosting it.

Please do not confuse the two...they are separate events...be sure to sign up for the one(s) you want to attend on the home page using the events tab. Thank you.

Question ... with regards to signing up under the events section of the website ... when I signup it only allows for one person, how do I include Zoel? or does he have to log in separately to register too? When I register it only looks like I'm attending, so how do I indicate there are two of us?

Usually people just register twice under the same name for headcount purposes. Actually you and Zoel have forum accounts so you could log on and RSVP separately but that's kinda a pain to have to do.

Glad you brought it up; there might be a way Brad can change it so we can list guest names or something like that. Hmmm...

It's all in the state of Va., and about 92 miles down and around 75 back to Haymarket.

Awww, thanks...also thank you for stepping up with a cool event! It's impossible for me to do it all; as it is, I've got the BBQ, 15th Annual Cruise-In, and Carlisle all in one month. Argh!
