Hi all,

I just posted the information re: AI and need to start a workers list for the Autocross and the Car Show.

Please sign in here if can help and to what capacity.

We need the following workers for the Autocross:

Corner workers, starter, timing assistance, staging lane help, etc.

For the Car Show we need parkers, vote talliers, and general workers.

Please sign up and help your club. [B-)]

I would like to work on some nice publicity photos for the club, and the web site. The only thing is is I need access to all events and all areas to make this work. Will this be a problem or do you think it will be ok? I should be able to accomidate several other small tasks if needed also. Just let me know what. Also if you have something a 10 year old boy can do you can put my son to work also.

The track is pretty open at all times with execption to the infield of the oval. We only let people out in between heats but other than that you would have the run of the place.

There isn't much a 10 year old can do but he's welcome to come out and watch.

Your job can be to keep the timing people amused or you can work starter. [;)]

I'll go ahead and scratch the kid. I can move around a little easier that way. Plus that way I can at least act as a relief for the corner workers, timers, starters, ect. so that they can at least relieve themselves from time to time. Also; I'm going to Costco this weekend. Do you need anyone to pick up some water, or gaterade or anything for the workers? I'd be glad to pick some stuff up.

I can work on the rain date if needed...goin' to the 'Vettes on the Beach car show in Sylvan Beach, NY the weekend of the 25th. Dad will be bringing the '87 and I will be taking up my LilRed! Woo-hoo!

I can help with anything but really physical stuff. Foot is still not healed from surgery yet and giving me issues...

First comment - Although this is nice and pretty (and Brad is doing a GREAT webmaster job) -- what a pain in the rear to RSVP to work! I don't have time to check both email and forum and obtain yet another login and password. What the heck is a CAPTCHA anyway?

Second - But I will be there solo to work Sunday, have to leave by 5.

Third - if you've only got the few workers you do with this forum posting maybe it's time to go to another way to advertise this

Lastly - it would be helpful if folks actually put their name in their message so we wouldn't have to guess

Thank you all for helping with this event.

The schedule is as follows:

8:30 AM  Autocross setup. I would like the workers to be there between 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM.

9:00 AM  Gates open. I will need workers to direct traffic for the autocross and the car show.

10:00 AM Autocross on oval. Gates closed followed by parade laps. Participants in autocross that are also going to run the drags will be in the first heat.

10:00 AM to 5:00PM Peoples Choice Car Show. I need someone to help with questions the participants and spectators might have.

Noon to Close Drag Events. We do not have any worker needs for the drags because it is handled by ODS.

You will get free entry if you are working this event but you MUST tell me before Friday so I can put you on the workers list.

Since the gates dont open until 9:00AM you will have to enter the track at the back gate near the drag strip. To get there, turn left on the service road just past the equipment dealer and before the storage place (I think) and you will see the gate on the right.
