Is there a way to reprogram the computer so that the ASR is OFF when I start the car and I would have to push the button to turn it ON?
Traction control in the C4 is teh suck. [X-(]

Paul,
I did speak to Joe last night and asked about this...he siad there's actually a module you need to buy, not something as simple as on the C4's. I just thought I'd pass that on, but let him give you the heavy details :)

There used to be a bypass system on the market several years ago for those C4 owners that are either to forgetful or lazy (LOL) to lift that left arm and push a button. But I have not seen it offered in a while. Sorry it is not a simple reprogram type of deal.

Oh well, I guess I'll have to remind my lazy self to lift that left arm...

Put a 'Post It' on the airbag, "Hey Forgetful, Turn off the ASR" [:))]

Thanks for the answer Joe. It's not a big deal to me now because after 8 years it's part of the "startup" procedure for me to turn it off. [B-)]
