Everyone is coming out of the wood work....
I just got word that Rich Roemer and Tom Green are coming out also. So for now the list is:
Jim Beaupre
Tom Green
Rich Roemer
Ralph Watts
Mike Woods
& me
Mike Geyer might swing by to check out the action also.
Besides the HPDEs, Legend & Honda/944 cup racing they are also having a Drifting contest, Bikini Jousting (I have NO clue), music and fireworks on Saturday evening.
Maybe we should turn it into a NVCC social event. [;)]

Uh ... Mike add me to the list. Don't know if you saw it but someone with an HPDE 1 slot is stuck in Europe, so I am going to take it!! Andrej, do you think there will be a problem with this??
As it is a Novice slot no one should complain and I have a current NASA membership but have never used it to register for an event.
What do you think Andrej? Will I have a problem? Is it too late for Tech? What do I need to do right now? [:D] [:D] [:D]

Jim, it shouldn't be a problem. Your instructor will probably just sign off your log book and let you run solo in HPDE 1. I've seen them move people from one group to another but it depends on how full the other groups are. Mike Woods was on the waiting list and he got a HPDE 2 slot. Tech is performed by your instructor before you go out on track. So download and print the Tech Inspection PDF from the site and take it with you when you go out.

Hey Bill, Saturday will be loaded with things to do. If you can make it why don't you come out? There is a $15 per person gate fee but you can watch the show, set around and bench race with us and see what its like.
Sometimes the adrenalin is so thick you could cut it with a knife. They are also going to have Hyper Drive over on the Jefferson Circuit (where we hold Spooktacular). I think its $40 for an instructor to ride around with you for 20-30 minutes.
Very similar to HPDE 1 except its only a single session. http://www.hyper-fest.com/activities.htm#HyperDrives

Hey Mike,
Will you are anyone this weekend be bringing an extra helmet that I might borrow to take a passenger for a ride?

Well look 'who the cat drug in'! I haven't heard anything out of you for ages. Where have you been keeping yourself?
Don't tell me you are actually going to make it this weekend. [:p]
I can bring one of the extras, what size does your passenger need?
