Shop night - inspection

Can you do an inspection on the Vette on Tuesday?

Also, if you have time to look at the car, the AC and cruise control stopped working and the radio seems to have lost it's ability to pull in radio stations.

The A/C and the cruise control might be a real easy one Andrej. The 'normal' culprit is a small hard plastic valve in the vacumn line on the passenger side of the intake manifold.

It catches a lot of heat there and becomes brittle and easily cracks.

The AC was working great till it stopped. I don't know when the cruise control stopped, but it was not operating while the AC was. [:-?]

Sorry a inspector is not ava. to us on shop night but I'll go over your car with you so there wont be any surprises when you take it in for a Va sticker. Now as far as shop night goes it is intended for you to work on your cars I'm ther to give a hand and direction if needed. I wish there was a way for me to fix everyones cars that night but there is only one of me and so many of you. It provides everyone a chance to learn about there cars and see what kind of shape they are in first hand. I really look forward to see everyone that I know and meet the ones I don't.

No problem. I want to change my oil, fix a broken wire and look for that plastic valve.
