GERMAN DINNER CRUISE
AUGUST 21ST 2004
MEETING PLACE: CRACKER BARREL IN MANASSAS
DRIVERS MEETING 1:45 PM
DEPARTURE 2:00 PM

Come join us for a fun filled afternoon/evening of some cool country driving on some cool Corvette roads along with some fine dining at one of the best German restaurants in the state. If your taste is for a good schnitzel, cordon bleu, or even a fine steak; this place will suite just about any taste.
The route will include going through, or by places like Manassas Battlefield, Lincoln Winery, Sycamore House, Gray Ghost Vineyards, Sperryville, And other cool sights. If you are a shutterbug you may want to bring your camera along with you for this trip.
After dinner we will head back towards Haymarket for some soft serve ice cream at Pickle Bob's soft serve. This will put us about a mile from 66 in Haymarket at the end of the trip for easy access back home afterwards.
This is a reservation only restaurant so you need to register in advance with the number in your party so that I can make reservations. Working closely with the Chef/Owner he is allowing us to the date of August 7th to confirm all reservations, and is looking forward to hosting our Cruise/Dinner. He is a World Class chef, and he believes in World Class service. Dinner for 2 usually is between $50.00 & $75.00 and is worth every penny plus some.
Directions to the Cracker Barrel in Manassas are, take 66 west to 234 north and stay in the right hand lane to make a right at the 1st light. Then a right into the Cracker Barrel parking lot. We will meet in the corner of the parking lot that faces 234. Drivers meeting will be at 1:45 PM.
We look forward to seeing everyone on the 21st of August and bring your appetite!!!!
Also; There will be a short stop about 1/2 way down for those of you that need to refuel, or just unload and stretch. At the drivers meeting I have about 20 of there paper menus to hand out. Erica & I are really looking forward to hasting this event, and really think that you will enjoy the trip and food.
