Hey all,
Im a new Vette owner, forum user, and in time NVCC member. I recently purchased a 1978 Silver Anniversary C3 (http://www.villagephotos.com/pubbrowse.asp?selected=922549); were still getting acquainted I can say, however, I Love driving it! My other vehicle is a 2001 F250, 4x4, V10; quite a different experience.
Ill be searching around the posts here looking for advice and most likely learning quite a bit; not too difficult since Im start out not knowing anything.
My endless admiration for the C3 inspired me to purchase the vehicle. My objective is to continue the previous owners restoration process. My restoration objective is to keep the car stock. More specifically, I need to learn what I can realistically change/upgrade without affecting status as a stock vehicle or negatively impact the value of the vehicle. ?!?!? Theres always a tradeoff.
Work is going to keep me very busy for the next few months, but at some time, Id also like to join yall in a local cruse or something somewhere good excuse to just drive. I got funny looks from my wife the first time I said I was going out for a drive and didnt return home until hours later, little sun-burn. Love it love it love it!
I live in Northern Virginia, just outside Washington DC. Id enjoy hearing from yall anytime 0013@smartneighborhood.net. Until then& please excuse my silly questions, Im learning.
Cheers,
