I just talked to Larry Mansier of the Ohio/Indiana chapter of NASA. http://www.racenasa.com/ He is going to open registration for the BeaveRun event tomorrow. http://www.nasaproracing.com/nasa_event/list_events (Scroll down to the Ohio/Indiana Region)
This event is a 2/3 day event (Saturday & Sunday plus Monday) You can sign up for just the 4th & 5th or all 3 days.
If you want to attend a DE event to qualify for your NCCC high-speed certification, this event is the last one before Spook. Since registration won't start until tomorrow you won't have a problem with the Novice group being filled already.
BeaveRun is an extremely fun track. If you haven't had a chance to try it yet I do recommend it. A few of us have been talking about going up and I think this is the perfect opportunity.
The list of possible attendees are:
Ralph Watts
Bill Linton (no C thank you)
Andrej Balanc
Mike Sarver
Anyone else interested? We could make this a big NVCC outing.

I have these dates marked on my calendar, but probably won't register until after the July event @ SP.
Plan on VIR in October; that can give a little more track time before Spook. It is a Carguys event.

I've never been to BeaveRun and this is a great opportunity since we don't have to work that Monday. I looked at the NASA VA schedule and there's an event Sept 18-19 at Summit and since I can't afford to do both I'll do BeaveRun. My son, Justin might join us.

Mike,
That event at BeaverRun does not appear on the schedule in July. Maybe it's still too early...

Check this link Ohio/Indiana 2004 Schedule (http://www.racenasa.com/events.htm) for the 4th-6th of September.
It isn't listed on the registration page for events yet. We'll just have to keep an eye on it.

Can't wait for this event Guys...plan to register as soon as it's available. Tribble and I went last year and got so much track time we had to pull over and rest! Short track, easy to learn and great for Corvettes. See ya'll there!
