Collin,

The problem is the space in the image file name. The forum software doesn't understand spaces in urls.

In your first post the filename had a space in it and the forum tried to turn the URL you entered into a LINK by itself. When the software encountered the space in the filename it assumed it was the end of the link.

In this post the spaces were removed from the filename so the software tagged the LINK correctly BUT... the filename on the server has spaces in it so the LINK doesn't work because it can't find the image file.

To get almost all urls (links) to work, use the "http://" button above the message box when entering your post. This will give you a box to type in the text you want the readers to see. Enter the text and press the OK button. (in my post I entered "Club Wave")

After that you will get a 2nd box to enter the "http://" text in. Paste the url from your browser into that box. (I pasted in the url to the image from the Events from the website) Press the OK button and it inserts the LINK with the URL and the text.

What it inserts into the post is

{url=http://www.nvcorvetteclub.com/nvcc/fulcrum?albumID=events28&imageID=club wave net.jpg&maximumDimension=800}Club Wave{/url}

I replaced the brackets the forum uses [ and ] with { and } so that you can see the actual code

It should work like this

Club Wave (http://www.nvcorvetteclub.com/nvcc/fulcrum?albumID=events28&imageID=club wave net.jpg&maximumDimension=800)

You can also enter the text directly yourself.

To do that enter {url=The http:// address}Text to see{/url}.

Again, I'm using the {} brackets so you can see the code. You would replace them with the [] brackets to get the code to work.

The end result is
Text to see (http://www.nvcorvetteclub.com/nvcc/fulcrum?albumID=events28&imageID=club wave net.jpg&maximumDimension=800)

So that's what we looked like from up there. I guess those are Corvettes. [:D] I went to all the trouble of combing my hair that day, and you can't really tell.[:))]

Good effort, great fun. DR
