All of this appeared to start this weekend. Were any changes made to the code recently?????

Not unless there is a major problem with the underlaying code. Generally each post is a seperate entry in the database structure. Likewise each user session has its own memory variables on the server. Unless there is a major bug in the code it wouldn't happen even if you hit SUBMIT at the same exact moment.

Apparently we have either gone through a code change recently (this weekend when the errors started showing up), the pointers in the database (or file structure if its not using a database) have gotten trashed or we hit a particular set of circumstances (all of the planets aligning) that hasn't been tested.

The pointers are probably the most likely since this could have happened due to any number of reasons.
