Laurie and everyone else that wasn't there, you missed a great time. George K., Charlie M., Jerry L. and Bill L. (new or prospective members) showed up and ran (Bill & Charlie) or helped out (George & Jerry Thanks guys).
We had a good turn out of folks when all was said. Dick H., Paul H., Ralph W., Mike W., Barry M, Jenny H.(NVMC'er), Steve V.
George had his camera out there so we should have some great pics. I've got to get the times off the laptop and get them to Paul so we can get them posted.
Got plenty of seat time in and the weather was great after the first mist dry up off the track.

Wish I could have been there, but wasn't feeling so well today. [:((]
Spent the day with a friend's doggy to keep me company while I recuperate. Hopefully I will be well enough to come to the next one. [:)]
Sounds like it was a huge success; glad everyone had a good time![B-)]

The results are SUPPOSED to be posted to the website http://www.nvcorvetteclub.com/nvcc/autox/results.jsp
I ended up having to post them to my personal web space last year. Let's just say that I am not going to do it this year.

If you have them couldn't you just cut and paste them here. The cool thing about the forum is how rapid information gets out.
Thanks

You're right the forum allows real quick dissemination. The problem is nothing can be formatted.
So here is the data&. All fields should be delimited by one space so you should be able to copy, paste and import into a spreadsheet to see it correctly

I ran faster than I thought I did on the second set.

Bill Cinton 2H 59.841 59.713 58.878 58.878
Last name should be Linton though ;)
BTW what does 2H for class mean, and where
can I see that info.

Congrats on the times. Cutting off over 6.5 seconds between the first event and the second is very well done. We'll have to give Paul heck about adding the C to your last name.
2H is the class designator. H stands for the year group... H means C5 except stock Z06s. 2 is the Group... 1 for Stock, 2 for Modified and 3 for Heavily Modified.
The classes are outlined in the NCCC rulebook and vary slightly between drag races, autocrosses, and rallyes.

pointers!
So since im already in 2H what do I need to avoid so I dont
get into 3H?

Changing certain parts out to non-corvette / non-chevrolet is the easiest way to get into group 3. The easiest one to do and the one that catches most people is changing to slotted or cross-drilled aftermarket rotors.
To me, it is probably the stupidest rule also, since slotted rotors don't really impact the stopping distance. I'll try to remember to bring my rule book with me next Saturday and let you look at it or we can go through it and look at some of (what I consider to be) the stupider rules. [:D]
