This question for Joe:
My support vehicle is a '94 Silverado K-1500. The windshield wipers have been unreliable lately. They sometimes work, and sometimes they don't. They never work when the switch isn't "on" but they can be intermittent to sporadic when "on."
Every time I put it in my garage they work fine, so I haven't been able to isolate the cause. I have a spare wiper motor around here somewhere (from a Camaro) but I suspect this is a problem in the wiring.
Where do you think I should start?[:-/]

Sorry about the delay responding. Really easy fix. With C/k trucks this is a common problem. All you have do is the replace the wiper motor circuit board. Located under the black plactic cover on the wiper motor. Joe

I didn't notice a delay...I don't make it back here everyday, so your suggestion was right on time.
That circuit board was easy to get to. I didn't replace it yet, but I noticed some debris on the board and I cleaned it up. It wasn't making good contact on the back, so I cleaned the 2 points. It has worked since I put it back together, but the real test will be sustained use during rain.
Thanks for the tip.
