What's going on haven't seen new post in week or so....ICE CREAM CRUISE...everyone going???

Just got off the phone with Woodbridge Dynotech. Turning the car in on Saturday to get the mods installed. [:D] [:D] [:D]

But won't get the car back until the middle of next week. So I can't go on the cruise!! [:((] [:((] [:((]

I noticed the same thing... I just thought everyone was out / gone enjoying the long weekend.

Stayed home, first time in about a month, to catch up on yard work. Finally got the place looking nice. Cut grass from Saturday until Monday....living in the country is so much fun...

Did take vette out Sunday for quick drive to Home Depot, needed to buy replacement cylinder for weed-wacker. Actually made it home without hitting any cicadas.

Was able to get out a little bit this weekend, thank God. Also went to Home Depot near Fairfax and got sidetracked by the Nascar appearance in their parking lot. Needless to say, I didn't get anything accomplished that day after spending most of the time checking out the race car! [:p]

Yup, started torture, ooooh I mean physical therapy today...I have a surgical "shoe" I wear to walk in and can now drive, yippee![:D]

At least I have my handicap placard so I don't hafta walk that far to get into the ice cream parlors! Although I gotta admit, people look at me funny when they see me pull the vette into a handicapped spot, open the door, and try to get myself out of the car.[:p]

I can't believe it has been a month today already since my surgery. Yee-haw!

Just got home from wedding in North Carolina yesterday. [:)]Leaving for Nashville this Saturday and won't be back until late on the 15th so will not be able to go on ice cream cruise nor attend council meeting. [:(] After that I'm not going anywhere until October.

Mike, you need to read this month's newsletter:

"Next month, maybe I'll share how the week before I drove down to the Courthouse; I walked out of store into a Walmart parking lot, and saw a school bus parked alongside my car. Seems the lady needed a bigger parking lot to turn the bus around, because, well, actually part of the bus was on the vette. Anyone have a band-aid? Jeff"

I think he had a run in with a school bus - among other things.

It wasn't too bad, he had it in the Concours Fun Show.
