NVCC had good representation at the autox today, with Jim B, Jim A, Wanda and Zoel R, Mike S and myself traveling over two hours to get to the event. The weather was spectacular and LCCC put on a great double autox. It was a tight course, but flowed very well.

Zoel was fighting for the honor of FTD (Fastest Time of Day). He was running againt John Watt in a fast yellow group II car, and missed out by a whisker for the FTD honor for the first autox. I had to leave before the end of the second autox, and John had posted a pretty good time by then. Zoel probably got him...

Wanda was cool as a cucumber rocketing aroung the course, she is fun to watch "at work". Jim B was breaking in his new Kumhos and was getting faster with each go-round. Jim A was tearing up the course with good 48 second runs. Mike S was getting great times in his car too, with this being his third parking lot autox! I had the Miata out today, couldn't get the Vette fans working. It was one of a few non-Vettes there and I had a blast...

The LCCC folks were appreciative that us NVCC'rs came up for their event. We caught up with old friends and had a great time!

As Andrej said, it was a really good event and the people were terrific.

The speeds at these low speed autocrosses may not be what a lot of us are used to but they are just as fun as the oval at ODS. The competition is fierce but friendly.

If you haven't been to one of these events and you get the chance (schedules, etc.) I highly recommend it. [:D]

Hey Wanda, when and where is the next dual autocross event? [B-)]

Hey Had a great time too! Though our drive up was raining until we stopped at the PA border - never saw a drop after that!

BTW Andrej missed me getting into the exclusive 43's on the last runs and Zoel getting the only 42 second run of the day!
LCCC did a terrific job. We need to copy their performance![:D]

Yes Andrej, I got him .... All three runs were in the 42's. 1st run was 42.5 +1 cone [>:)] [>:)] , 2nd run was 42.4 clean [:D] [:D] , 3rd run was 42.3 +1 cone [>:)] [>:)] [>:)] . By the way, we also had a lot of fun. It's great to see a lot of NVCC members out kicking butt!

Yes, sir, you certainly got him good! Nice consistency too! Was it that last cone on the right that got you?

We NVCCr's are keeping our reputation of having serious autocrossers.
