[:-/] Joe, good morning. I have a problem with the temperature control on my 78 L82. I can only get A/C (very weak but cold) or really high heat, but no incoming fresh air. Is there something that can be easily adjusted in the console? I will be at the shop meeting on May 25. Thank you, Jerry Lelansky (newbie).

Jerry, sorry to say no simple answer off the top of my head. The only thing that you can check is that the temp door is moving it's full travel. Otherwise it is something that I would have to spend some time with.

Joe, thanks. If you mean the temp lever, it is moving full travel from hot to AC; so is the . If there is a temp door, I don't know where that is. Is it on the firewall or in the console?
Thanks, I will be attending the shop night on May 25th. Jerry

Jerry, the lever could be moving all the way but the door inside the HVAC ducts may not be. We'll look on the 25 and see what we can do. Joe

[:)] Joe, thanks. See you tomorrow evening. It probably is the HVAC door. I've done some reading up on it, but I'm still clueless. thanks again, Jerry

Joe, I got the A/C / heat problem taken care of on Friday. It turns out it was the A/C acuator behind the glovebox; luckily F&A Autosales had the part and we installed it... I'm running cool now!
Thanks again, Jerry
