Well last year the wife took the 88 to Pohanka for the recal replacement of the seatbelts.
They did not replace the catch on the drivers side.
THe catch would not release and she had to be cut out of the seatbelt.
I have a new belt and catch to put in but the drivers seat does not move. The one shop I took it too won't /can't do the work because the seat won't move and they can't get to the bolts.

How hard is it to remove the seat without the power motor moving the track?

Any ideas on what keeps it from moving?

I need to replce it by saturday or I can't autocross

Unfortunally the latch was not a part of the recall. It should have been though. I will be here (at Koons) all day fri and saturday. I need to take a look at the seat track. Hopefully something is just stuck. Even if we can't get the track to move I should be able to get the belt in... The season is just starting (autocross) have to start on the right foot...[:)]

Darn I missed this to meet up Friday.

What time can I come in on Saturday to have you look at the seat track?
