Dam* Weathermen....not really....

Well, the weather out at the site Saturday, was decent, but afternoon showers. Sunday was partly cloudy, in morning, clouded up in the afternoon, then around 4:00 PM it started to shower.

Sunday was Foggy, rainy, until about 10:30 then became partly cloudy, sun was out and in, and it was humid. Then around 5:30 clouded up with rain around 6:30, then the heavens opened up. All day it was very windy, blowing aroun 15 with gusts up to 25 or more.

So it was nice but threatening, all week end, typical of what the weather men told us, was not as bad.

Ok so now lets look forward, the farmers almenac says good weather for the 23 above average temps....lets hope.

I know a lot of the better cars would not have shown up...so lets all pray for good weather...

Yeah, in-hind sight we could have probably had it, but the stress of wondering whether the weather would hold would have been tremendous!

I had one guy call me from the park on Sunday, asking where we were!

All in all I think you and Don made the right call. Now lets hope for good weather...

I went out to the park at 7:30 AM and was there until 9:00 and I never say him, I was in the lower parking lot. I saw no Corvette come into the part, but I did close my eyes and nap every once and awhile...oh well, I wrote on the application to check the website and gave me number to call....I think I would have checked before I drove out. I hope he is still coming.
