Went to Mason-Dixon today to play, have fun, meet some old friends, etc. I was having a terrible time hooking up. I got in one good run but I let off at the end. (Afraid I was going to get kicked off the track) Unfortuantely I could never repeat the performance to find out what I would have done if I hadn't lifted.
R/T: .676
60': 1.772
1/8: 7.933
1/4: 12.203
MPH: 116.33
What do you think? Does she have 11s in her?

About the same as usual. Have you been up there before? There was one real strong 2000 GT, blower, laughing gas that was doing a real good job of keeping up with me. I ran against him once and he did a better of job of hooking than I did but I walked him when I hit 2nd.
Ceece's car was down with transmission problems. I think Eby was running in the 10s

Yeah, I think the 11's are there for you with more practice.
I couldn't get my 60' below 2.0
My best 1/4 mile was 13.46; my best trap speed was 106.7.
I was encouraged to explore the upper rpm's by the other Vette drivers. I found out that my fuel does cut out at the redline of 6,000 rpm.
I think I could improve by .2-.3, and 5-6 mph.

I am thinking about making a trip down to MIR some Friday evening. You don't get as many runs but the strip is better prepped so the 60's are better.
You're definitely right about the practice[:((] I also found out the stock tach isn't worth trash. The rev limiter on the computer is set for 6000 and the tach was fluctuating from 5400 - 5800 when I was getting into the limiter. Maybe a shift light might be a good idea. [;)]
