To all the NVCC Members,
The Concours 2004 will be here in no time flat, so to make sure we are all coordinated I will post here then send out email.
As you know the Concours will be on May 2nd held at Franklin Park, Purcellville, VA. Refer to the CONCOURS link on our Web Site to get DIRECTIONS.
Day before the show, Saturday May 1st. I need people to help set up the park for the show. We will meet at 9:00 AM SHARP, and will divide into work parties, so wear you old jeans and old shirts. We need to set up tents, move tables and chairs in place, but up signage, in some cases make signs, help put up snow fence around the show area, help set up the judge tent. We will get pizza for lunch.
Hope to get all of this done by 2:00 PM. I would like to get as many people who are working the show there so we can leanr the traffic flow and how we are going to get the cars into the show area.
SHOWDAY, May 2nd Sunday,
I plan to be at the park at 6:30 AM. I would like to have as many people as possible there by 7:00 AM. One lessson we learned at the other show was people show up by 7:30 and want to get registered so they can work on their cars. So I will need everybody there by 7:00 AM.
7-10:30 REGISTRATION
9:00 AM Gates open to public.
11:00 AM Rags DOWN and DRIVERS MEETING
11-3 Judging all classes
3:30 TROPHY Presentations
4:30 CLOSE SHOW
CLEAN UP and meet at Collin's House for Hot Dogs Grilled and Beer... in back RSVP...I live 2 mins from park...
