Posted for Don Kerndt:

Thanks to all of you who responded to my recent Concours email. I have updated the list and hope I have all the names correct.

We still have open positions, so if you have not signed up please do so. This should be a fun time and we want you to come and join with other club members for the event. We will train you if you are not sure what needs to be done in any of the tasks. Please contact me and let me know if you would be willing to help with the event or if changes are needed to the list. The Concours is scheduled for May 2. Check the web site for additional information.

You can still show your car and help with the event. My home phone number is 703-759-5495 and work is 703-848-1381.

Here is an update for the Concours workers:

The volunteers are asked to come to the park on May 1 Saturday at 10am for show set up, training, and general run through of the event. Maybe after we are done, we can adjourn to a local watering hole to prepare for our journey home.

On Sunday May 2, workers are asked to start showing up at 6 am (yikes) with registration starting at 6:30.
We are hoping to descend on a local Chinese restaurant after the show for some decompression.

We still have open positions, so if you have not signed up please do so. Some of the positions like set up can be done on the morning then switch to another position like judging or sales later in the morning.

The areas that we still need help follow:

Sales & Door Prizes - still could use 4 more people
Access Management - help control the crowd flow - need 3 more
Set up - two more
Registration - could use 2 more
Classification - how about one more person

We will train you if you are not sure what needs to be done in any of the tasks. Please contact me and let me know if you would be willing to help with the event or if changes are needed to the list.

In addition, after the show we are planning to have dinner at PENS Chinese Kitchen, a resturant in Purcellville. Pay as you go, I need to know a count so the resturaunt can plan for seating. So please think about this and let us know SATURDAY on the work day and I will take care of the arrangments. Open to all CLub Members.

FOOD is great and they have very cold beer...plus the best Mia Tias in the area....hope you will join us for the after show fun.

We may try to make the Chinese restaurant after...not sure because I might be really tired and I have my surgery the very next day.

BTW...my name is spelled LauriE Kistner, please correct for the concours worker list...it is a big pet peeve of mine.[;;)]
