Can someone explain the "both" category for both judged and fun show? Are they two seperate areas? Why would somebody pay for both? I understand the if you pay for the "fun show" you just hang out and people walk by and oooh and aaah and you get no judging. If you pay for the judged show, you get judged and maybe a trophy or something.

But if somebody pays for the judged show, can't people still walk by and ooh and aah? What's the difference other than stated above? What is the advantage of paying for "both"? I've never been to concourse. Not much of a waxer so please enlighten me. I may actually bring that piece of crap I call a corvette out to this years concourse....

Since I chaired it from 05-07, I'll bite. They are basically 2 separate shows at the same location, for all intents and purposes. There is an opportunity to earn NCCC points in each show. Hence, signing up for both would allow that person to earn more than if he/she just signed up for one of the shows.

There are different awards at the judged and fun shows, so again, another opportunity to come home with more than one award or trophy.

Doing both shows also helps earn the Concours charity some more money toward their cause.

I have been spreading the word on the ZR-1 Registry and with Vette drivers I know...
I will be bringing my 1990 ZR-1 (poor MR BLU wants to come but will be in the garage ;) )
