Hi all,

I have a 1987 Corvette, I put the car in to get the transmission leak fixed at the local Chevrolet dealer and discovered that it is the front seal that is leaking. I am in central Loudoun County and am wondering if anyone knows a shop that is knowledgable in old Corvettes, particularly C4's, for this type of work. I have some other things that need fixing as well and the local dealers throw their hands in the air if the computer doesnt return what they expect.

I have a C4 ('94) as well, and can honestly say that Joe Malo at Koons Chevy is the man. Give him a try...

BTW...the first vette I ever drove was a yellow '87. What color is yours?[:-/]

Cam,

I have to agree with Laurie. Even if you dont want to take it to Koons where Joe is, he may be able to recommend a shop that can do decent tranny work for you.

Auto Masters in Leesburg can fix your transmission. If you can't deal with the overhead associated with Koons, try High Tech Truck and Auto in Chantilly for your other Vette related problems.

Thanks, those two are closer to where I live. Tysons is quite a ways away.
