Chip Miller, owner and organizer of Corvette at Carlisle passed away last night.

"Thursday, March 25, 2004 11:13 AM CST
Dad passed away last night in Rochester, MN at approximately 12:30am CST without any pain. He had a smile on his face which let us know he was happy to move forward on his journey to a much better place. It was beautiful to see him with the sign of peace as he ventured off to his new home where someday well all be joining him. Rest assured hell keep a warm spot for all of us in his new found destination - Heaven&

Our family will be donating money to an Amyloid research facility. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the:

This will help research and hopefully cure this rare disease. We appreciate all of your love & support during this trying time especially Dad.

He is really going to be missed, I have met Chip on several occasions and was on first name basis with him. I have been invited up to his garage to see some of his cars and he was just a guy who had a passion for all types of cars. I know the people who go to Carlisle will miss him and you will see some changes in the future, it was Chip's passion for Corvettes that made this event the largest in the world. I am so sorry to hear this news.
