Great minds think alike....I just logged in to do this :) Thanks for getting it out to the folks closer to the time.

All, this is a great opportunity to see the Rallye rules breakdown, overview and hang out with great people. If you want to enjoy your car on a friendly drive, this is the place to be.

We have worked (heck, more Dick at this point) to get this season off to a great start. This is an opportunity to dive in without worrying you don't know what to do. I encourage anyone who can make it to come on out (please RSVP to Dicks email as listed in Laurie's post above) and see what its about.

For those of you that don't know, there has not been a Rallye chair for a while. We are trying to pull together a fun season of events. Come out and support this first for 2008.

Thanks!

Hey folks!

Just a nudge and a reminder to register for the Rallye with Dick BEFORE THE EVENT>....

Remember, this one involves some paperwork, too. He needs to get things copied (yes, you should probably have some idea how to read for this event).

Seriously, if you have been on the fence about doing a Rallye, this is the one to do! All in good fun, with friends and a great brunch.

Hope you all can make it. Email dick.hammaker@cox.net or me (cassidynolen@yahoo.com) if you need additional assistance.

Well, we did not exactly have "perfect" weather (read as it poured the entire time) but that did not dampen spirits! Thanks to all that participated and made it a success.

Special thanks to Dick for hosting and all his efforts. The pre-game and post-game helped to clarify details to all participants. Veterans and beginners alike learned from this and we thank you for your efforts. Details and scores to follow.

Our next event will be May 18th, with Alice hosting our Mt. Vernon run. Details to follow, flyer to post in the newsletter (if possible) as well.

Best to all, thanks for the support and a GREAT event!

This was an excellent start to the 2008 Rallye Season! Thanks very much to Dick for providing an outstanding introduction to Rallyes. The course was fun and challenging and it was a good reflection of what you might see in a full rallye.

And Thanks to Cassidy and Nicole for stepping up to manage the NVCC Rallyes this year! It was a great start and we are looking forward to this year's events.
