Agreed! George now you can get a full nights rest for sure. Thanks for putting on this event!!! This is the second one i could make it to and I remember why the first one was so fun!!!! All the students I had really enjoyed the day and I did too :)
Thanks to everyone that helped out, to miriam for putting up with us again, and to all the other cone fetchers and trailer toters!
if anyone has pictures from the event I'm sure we'd all love to see them!

I'm still thawing out my toes. I hope the coffee & donuts helped. I know I had my share of coffee....... [:)]
I took over 300 pictures of the event. I'm sure once I look through them all it'll be more like 150 that are actuall worth looking at. (Still nailing down that action photography thing).... [:))]
So, once I've gotten them all downloaded and cleaned up, I'll post them all on photobucket so the participants can check them out. There are a pretty few good ones.
Also, George, since you have the email list of all of the students, once I post the link can you forward it on to them so they can catch some pictures of themselves? I'm sure they'd appreciate it.
Until next time.... Have a great holiday everybody!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also took many photos and managed to take at least one shot of every student using a 400mm lens. You can see most either laughing or intense or serious. Most have the instructors with their mouths open and hands motioning! All these remote windshield shots you can identify the driver and instructor. What do you want me to do with them?
Finally comment from attendee below. We need to collect a few of these to use for marketing the next event.
"Jim, thanks for the heads up. This was a GREAT CLASS!!!!!! My daughter learned a lot and so did I. We also had a blast! I wish all of my family members could take this course a couple of times a year! I wish my son had taken the course before he went away to college. It would have saved him from totaling his car and almost loosing his life. This course should be required for all drivers. "

Some of us had our priorities screwed up and went to the Governor's meeting instead of honoring our promises to help ... [:(]

Based on the message below, Kelly's Girl Scout troop leader has decided that our course qualifies the girls for award of a GS badge. How about that ? Driving fun, "endorsed" by the Girls Scouts......

Hey everybody!! I finally got the pics from the teen driving school on Dec 1 posted. It took me almost 5 hours to get everything up and loaded but it's finally done...
Go to this link
http://s192.photobucket.com/albums/z60/asheikh74/Teen%20Driving%20School%20Dec%2007/
And on the left side there are 10 sub-folders.
Braking
Car Care
Classroom
Egg
Egg 2
Hanging Out
Instructors Playing
Skid Pad
Skid Pad 2
Slalom
If you click on each sub folder, it'll show you the pics from that exercise. Hit Back to go back to the main list again and see the other folders. If you watch them in slide show they came out pretty well.
Anyway, when you find pics that you want to keep, go ahead and just right click and save to your computer. I didn't lock them so they are free for everybody to have.
George, since you have all of the email addresses of the students and their parents, can you email them this information? Thanks everybody. See you soon!!!!

Man those came out great. Thanks for all of your work on the pics. It does take more time to "do" something with pics than it should; thanks for doing it.
There are some great shots we can share for next year.

Wow. Was that a student? Please say it was the parent's car. Even then......wow. *scratches head* [@-)]
My first car was a Pontiac Sunbird. [:-&] I learned stick on a Chevy Cavalier. My next car after that was, you guessed it, another Pontiac Sunbird! Never considered myself poor, but man I sure feel it now... [:-s]
I wonder if this guy is adopting other kids... [:-?]
Did I say wow? [:))]

that was Matt Currys nephew. Matt loaned him the car for the day. It was great getting in the car with him. he was a nice kid, had enough skill that i was never worried, although he did manage to kill it twice when i was in the car... oops..
