Go Carts 2008

Looking for 20 drivers for a gocart night at Allsports GP in Sterling VA. 20 drivers will give us 10 teams for a 60 lap enduro. You switch off drivers in your team every 15 laps and it is a whole lot of fun. Stewart Fox and I will be one of the teams, the remaining 18 can come with a partner or one can be assigned to you. The day I am looking at is Jan 15, 2008 at 7:00pm. I will get further details regarding cost a little later (app $75 per person). This is also a prepay event, so as costs get solidified, you'll have to send in a check for your seat.

The number one question so far has been can I bring a son/daughter. The answer is yes, if they are at least 18 years old (without a drivers license). A 16 yo with a state license car also run. Younger children can come, but they will have to spectate until to they get older, or unless they are licensed by AllSports. Charles is partnering with his 10 year old, who is FAST!

How much is it to spectate? I've owned one of these guys and have to say that I'm not half bad, but alas, too much going on and I can guarantee I can participate. So, if I can't sign up to drive, I'd love to come watch, heckle and help out if needed.

What is the cost to heckle???

AllSports has us penciled in for Jan 23 at 7:00pm. Let's show up at 6:45. The cost is $90 per person. We get a five minute warmup each, then 120 lap enduro. We switch drivers every 15 laps... We've done this format before and it is a ton of fun...

We have enough drivers signed up, so get me your checks to hold your spot. Make the checks payable to NVCC.
