I'm finally starting to get something working with this software I've got.

Like I said, I'm not an artsy kinda guy so bear with. It's only 1.32Mb so it shouldn't be to bad.

Right click on the link and select "Save Target As..." make sure it saves with a file extention of .WMV

What I'm really wanting is a good image shot of each one of the generations transitioning into the next. The sound track should be the Chevrolet 'Heartbeat of America'.

What I'm finding out is that my current software really sucks. I've got the Movie software that comes with the Dazzle digitizer and Pinnacle's Studio 8 SE (standard).

Both of them are really intended for simple 'home' movies. They do a good job of grabbing DV from a camera or converting from HV but they really fall short on capabilities when it comes time to edit them.

Also neither of them allows for menus in VCD (DVD yes). Also we are going to need someone with an "Announcer's voice" to do some voice-overs.

I think I can move it from High 8 to DV through my DV camera. Its worth a shot.

I'm falling on my face right now trying to create a story board with just the intro. I think I'm going to have to call for some help real quick. The only software I have are the Lite versions and either I'm stupid or they just don't work good for this.


I have an old version of Adobe Premiere and its supposed to be the bomb.

I have some ideas for the storyboard so maybe we all should get together somewhere and collaborate.

Wanna set and date and time and see who wants to join us?

Absolutely! The sooner the better for me.

What ever is a good time and day for you is fine with me. That said, Andrej and I are going to Richmond this Sunday, the 21st. I will also be doing the NVMC drags on Saturday, the 27th and the MWCSCC autocross at Rosecroft on Sunday, April 4th.
