On Sunday 10/21 (the day after the Fall Skyline Drive Cruise), we are invited to display our cars at the Shenandoah Valley Hot Air Balloon Festival. All 'vettes get in the gate free. The balloons go up at 7:30 am and 4:30 pm (weather permitting). There's live music, crafters, wine tasting (for a small fee), stuff for the kids, and lots of food. It's really a nice event. If you are doing the Skyline Drive Cruise the day before, you can get a room Saturday evening and simply get up and go to the balloon fest Sunday morning. Or, simply head out early Sunday AM from NoVa.

Directions to Historic Long Branch (off their website):
From Washington, D.C.: go west on Interstate Route 66 to Exit 23 & proceed on Route 17 North. Turn left on Route 50 at Paris. Just past Millwood, turn left on Route 624 (Red Gate Road) & proceed ½ mile.
From Northern Virginia: Take the Capital Beltway to Interstate Route 66 West. Follow the directions above.
From I-81: Take Exit 313 & proceed approximately 13 miles on Route 50 East. Turn right on Route 624 (Red Gate Road) & proceed ½ mile.
