OK folks! We have a shop night scheduled for Wed. night April 18th at 6pm at Koons Chevy. As was the case before we are limited to 8 lifts for the night and you must either be a current member of the club or a prospective member that has paid your dues to attend this event. (Koons rules) We are limmited to 4 hours so no tranny changes please! Also at the request of Koons please bring your own tools if at all possible, if not there will be several club members that have tools. Let me know if you need a lift for the evening.

I wouldn't mind coming up to visit as well. But, that's a heck of a long way to go for an oil change!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You guys keep any good single malt scotch around that place???????????!!!!!!!!!! Probably help Mike heal up faster and I know it'll make me feel better!!:-)

George, it would be nice if I could put our '89 on the lift for 30-45 minutes and have someone help us with some diagnostics and advice - no repairs. A few items are: parking brake cable seems to be one inch too short, locating an intermittent coolant leak, missing(?) grease fittings, etc. Since the normal charge is $99 minimum for diagnostics, it would be great to get some -free- reviews and advice for potential home or shop repairs.

Ahh... my favorite - count me in.
Hey, is it taking advantage to put a cat-back system on my F-250? [:D] Ha... [:))]

I'll be there! My C5 is getting race seats and harnesses at Piper Motorsports and may not be ready - but I'll hang out and lend a hand.

Count me in! I don't need any serious work done but would like to see the underside of a C5 where the fuel tank sensor is located. I have a bad fuel sensor and need to look at some possible fixes. Also have someone show me how to adjust the serpentine belt. I had it replaced along with the tensioner and it squeals when it's cold.

Serpentine belt is auto tensioning on these cars so there's no adjustment. When did you have it replaced? There might be another pulley that is going that is causing the belt to slip. We can look at it on Wed.

I'll be up tonight to give a helping hand. I'm dropping my car off tonight for Joe to take care of some warranty items.
Which toy is Joe bringing, that is the REAL question :)
Cheers, see you tonight!

I'll be there. Don't need any work done that I know of (unless someone wants to help me finish assy my HF trailer in my garage! Almost makes me wonder if it would have been more worth it to buy a pre-assy utility trailer for more $$$ from Lowes, Home Depot or the like. Almost. All I really need to do is figure out how to secure the tires--go as suggested with verticle pipes secured to the bed or build a railing system. Hmmm. [:))] )

At this time I would like to thank everyone that came out to work on their cars and to help others work on their cars last night. [B-)] These shop nights are a really great way to spend the evening with friends and gear heads alike!
I also want to sy thanks to Joe and Carl for allowing us to use Koons' shop and lifts. This is a really great thing that they do for us each quarter and Joe really enjoys helping us out at these events.
Thanks again
