2001 Z06 Yellow with 15K on the odometer. I did get rid of the GS sadly, but it was time. I was really impressed this year at Summit NCCC Convention on how well these vettes ran stock. You guys with the high horsepower 2002 and up 405hp models have a huge advantage against my low 385 hp model. We'll see how this year goes. He what is the classification on a stock Z06?

Congrats on the 2001. You know Jeff is going to let you live down the YELLAR thang, don't you? [:D]
He what is the classification on a stock Z06?
Stock, including tires, is 1SJ. Any mods brings it aback into H.

Congrats Mike!
At least it's not Blue like almost everyone else. [:D] [:p]
Why don't you come to the EOY party and show it off. [;)]

Jeff had a yellow vette. The electron blue vette is nice but it was too close to GS blue. Way too popular of a color for me. No one in the club had a yellow Z06, besides my first vette was a 86 was "yellow". By the way these what meant by stock was with Hossier tires.

Mike,
Congrats on the Z! With Hoosiers as the only change from stock, you would be in 1J for NCCC driving events. That's a good class, as those cars usually place FTD!
If you install a fancy intake thingamabob, or have non stock tire sizes (GS rims), you would go to 2H.
See you at the dinner!

OK Jenny, Thats not entirely true about the rides. I just do not know how to turn it down in the FUNN runs so my the risk factor is the same whether a Funn run or Timed. So they are not Fun for me. (yes I scare myself everytime I go out) Those of you that aren't scared are either lying, crazy or goin too slow. But when the mood strikes me I can't get enough of the track and of course you can have a ride

I not goin to touch it. I am leaving it stock...I think. I have MAJOR modded every Corvette I have owned. Nitrous 86, Lingenfelter 89, 86 Touring Challenge Corvette (For Sale) Stroked 96 Grand Sport (Sold and miss her). I think I have done it all. So for the Z06 I'm leaving it alone and hope the driving skills will keep it up in the front

And don't forget Todd Beal he has a yellow 2002 z06 -- but he took it out of the country. So it's good to see another yellow z06.
Congrats Mike -- I'm sure you'll love it.
However, I think with the 2001 the Hp is 385.
Anyway looks great and I'm sure you'll be killing us at the track with it soon.
Didn't you say you were going to VIR at the end of the month to try it out?

Woods,
Sorry I missed this post. BTW I have a quart of Corvette Electron Blue metallic when you want to join the rest of the "blue zo6 gang"
Congratulations. Can't wait to have a go at ya! Heads up baby! And the 20 hp I supposedly have I will consider a proper age handicap![:D]

Mike,
Congrats on the purchase, but I will miss the GS. Damn I loved that car.. blonde versus the redhead, remember?
Welcome to the Z06 team though. I'll patiently wait for the mods to start. There is no way that you and John wont be beefing it up, so once you start....I'll quietly watch..and maybe I can get some tips.
As my beloved club likes to point out, maybe a mod that will push the pedal on the right to the floor on occasion.
Congrats again,
Jeff
