I arrived up at Town Hill on Friday but unfortunately had to leave on Saturday early due to project issue that came up...so these are pics from Friday... others attending will be posting pics from Saturday.
Although a small turn out it was fun...really enjoy driving MR BLU in the mountains and I remain convinced that the Cumberland drive will be popular once folks give it a try.
This is the Sidling Cut (the largest/deepest highway cut thru a mountain east of the Mississippi)...great spot for 'showing your car' pics>>

Here is the view of the Sidling Cut from Town Hill (ele 1680 ft) where we stayed (Town Hill B&B)

This is the B&B where we stayed...very nice place and owners are great... this actually would make a great day drive for lunch and back..total drive time would be 4 hours total and couple hours at Town Hill...do in early fall on a nice cool day and view would be spectacular [=D>]

Mike,

Thanks for organizing this get-away, we had a ball! The B & B is a great place to stay and the owners are very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was awesome! I'd go back in a flash. Some of us did the tour at Falling Waters, which is quite interesting and driving there and back was alot of fun. Only 1 autocrosser in the bunch and it sounded like he had fun, and a pair of golfers that showed up for the Saturday night. Saturday night we went to an organized picnic with lots of food, from hotdogs, hamburgers, grilled chicken, crab, corn on the cobb etc. Oh yeah, and there was beer & wine too! And can't forget the unbelieveable collection of cars (mostly Corvette's) the host had in all of his garages (over 30 cars).

We left the B & B this morning around 10'ish and it took us about 5 1/2 hrs to make our way home because we decided to cruise some of the beautiful windy / curvy roads and just take our time. All in all it was one of the best, most relaxed weekends I've had in awhile.

Hats off to Mike!
