All,

We have so many wonderful workers from the club for the show...how about some entrants? The more cars, the better, as that means that:

1. We can donate a lot more money to the Special Olympics this year,
2. We can make a great showing of the club, and
3. We can have a lot of fun while doing so.

Here are the classes for Concours:

Concours Prepared: Showroom condition, stock equipment, no deviation. Classification sheet, exterior, interior, and engine judged.

Modified: 3-4 modifications allowed. Classification sheet, exterior, interior, and engine judged.

Custom: More modifications than the modified category. Custom (non-factory) paint jobs would be included in this grouping. Classification sheet, exterior, interior, and engine judged.

Race-prepared: NO classification sheet, exterior, interior, and engine judged. Must meet RP requirements for speed events.

Street Show: NO classification sheet, exterior, interior, and engine judged.

Wash and show: NO classification sheet, exterior and interior judged only. Hood remains closed, NO engine judging.

Exhibition: No judging, just for fun and to help our charity.

Even if you are a worker for the event, you can enter your car, too. If you are working as a judge, you can enter your car for judging, we just won't have you judge your own class. But it would be nice to have as many club members possible bring a car and put it in the show, judged or not. You'll learn a lot about your car as well as help a great cause.

I've attached the flyer and registration page again...please print out and mail to me ASAP (address on 2nd page). I will also be at the GBM with hard copies of the forms as well. Thanks.

Bumpity. Am finalizing a food vendor, there will be burgers, hotdogs, chicken, fish, french fries, coleslaw, ice cream, cold drinks, etc etc... [:D]

Getting final details together such as t-shirts, dash plaques, trophies, printing, etc. Judges meeting is already scheduled and will be scheduling a general worker meeting soon. Following the show layout from last year, as per Koons' request, so it will be very easy for all.

Carl is seeing about a special C6 Z06 display for the show. He's also going to do an email blast to their Corvette sales list. Got lots of prizes and goodie bags to give away as well.

So send those registrations in and support the club and show. [:)]

WOW! Looks like you have done it again! Fantastic looking show for sure [=D>]

I am sorry I have to miss the show this year, as it was such a nice change of pace from the past [B-)]

Keep up the great efforts to you, and your army of volunteers [=D>]

[b]***NOTE*** Participants, you may want to lock your doors when your car is unattended - Last year, folks off the street walked into the showroom and pulled open more than a couple of car doors, sitting behind the wheel of other folks pride and joy [=;] [:-B] [X-(] [:O] [#-o] [8-}] - Just a suggestion [B-)]

I thought you said you were going find a driver and send one of your cars? [:-/]

I spoke with the GM of Koons and that is what they have suggested, in addition to providing us with more people to help keep an eye out...

Irene and I will be there with the Grand Sport. Come on people, I'm not a Concour guy but I am a member of the club and have supported this event since I joined back in 1995, I think thats the year I joined. I always judge and enter my car.

At this event we show our sponsor support and the money goes to a good cause.

We need to be there in FORCE, volunteer, bring your vette, enter your vette, support your club.

I now step off my soap box and puts on the flame suit

Very well said, Mike, and I don't see why you would need a flame suit for that statement. [:D]

My car is nowhere near Concours prepared but like you said it is to support a good cause, our sponsor, and to show NoVa who we are. I will be in there with the '94 in exhibition proudly displaying the magazine article/photos. [:)]

So far only TWO club members have pre-registered...come on, folks, send the registrations in...

I'll bring my 2 registrations on Tuesday to the meeting. Got to get paid! Forms are already filled out.

I have forms filled out for a whole lot of events as a matter of fact! Just got to take them in order. [#-o]

[B-)] I am hoping I will get a slew of them at the GBM...

Pre-registering makes life a little easier for me, the head judge, and the registration people the day of. Besides, you can save five bucks by registering early! [:D] What a way to sell it. [:))]

Hopefully our website will have a REGISTRATION and PAYPAL feature someday soon. (hint, hint) [;)]
