Posting this for Mike Rierson who is organizing this.

He has been working with National Road Autosport on having a 'something for everyone' weekend, to include an autocross, rallye or road tour, lodging, and many social activities.

Friday night arrival would include an icebreaker with hors d'oeurvres and cash bar, Saturday would be the airport autoX, picnic, and garage tour of Dr. Mike McCagh (who has the largest private collection of Corvettes and is an NCRS judge). Sunday would be the 50 mile rallye or road tour, complete with detailed directions.

Cost per entrant (depending on hotel chosen) is $350 at Rocky Gap and $250 at Braddock. Cost for autoX is $50 to include the Saturday picnic; five runs per entrant in the autoX. There is golf and many other attractions in the area as well so there really is something for everyone. The date of the event would be the weekend of August 19-20.

If interested, or have any questions, please email Mike Rierson at mrierson@comcast.net so that we can set this up immediately. See also: Cumberland Weekend (http://www.nvcorvetteclub.com/nvcc/events/eventView.do?mode=view&id=266)

Laurie, by chance do tyou know if that $250-$350 is just the icebreaker and hotel per person. It seems at the original time he presented it to us the hotels were a lot cheaper. I'll have to look back on the past notes that I've taken. If so then that's $500 $700 per couple for a hotel room.

The information has not changed from the discussions at the Council and GBM meetings. If you have questions, I suggest you contact Mike Rierson, event head, directly.

I'm signed up and have reservations for both Fri and Sat night at the B&B listed. I talked to Dave (one listed on autoX flyer) about helmets and convertables. Only thing required is their tech inspection for no loose junk in cockpit and steering system without excessive play. They do require a helmet and it has to be a M-2000 or HS-200 or later helmet. They have several loaners! (helmets that is!)
