All,
This is a very, very BIG event in Corvette Land! Something for everyone...autoX, HPDE, drag racing, cruises, shows, tours, tech clinics, and many social events. NCM welcomes back the exciting Corvette enthusiasts of the internet forum group "Corvette Forum" for their cruise-In, May 24-27! This event is open to ALL enthusiasts and the NCM invites you to join them for an event like no other that celebrates the Corvette lifestyle.
In an unusual departure from the past, this year's event starts a day early with a high performance driving school at Nashville Superspeedway. Other exciting activities are road tours, drag racing, seminars, a drive-in movie night, a challenging golf classic, go-kart racing and more. Join NCM as they kick off the activities on Thursday, May 25 with drag racing at Beech Bend. A golf scramble at the Trace at Bays Fork - space is limited to pre-registeries only to be a part of this activity - and a free local area road tour are also part of the activities slated for Thursday and the evening rounds off with an "Owner's Night Out" at the Baymont Inn and go-karts at RaceWorld.
Friday's activities start early with a "Drive Through Troubleshooting" school with Gordon Killebrew and autocross at Western Kentucky Universities parking area. The autocross fee to participate is $25 per person and pre-registration is required. A people's choice car show and seminars in the Chevrolet Theater are in store for attendees with the event photo just after the car show awards. The evening winds up for another great owner's night out at the Baymont Inn.
Saturday's activities start with a choice of road tour excursions either to Sumner Crest Winery with lunch at Federal Grove or a scenic drive to Diamond Caverns and lunch at Park Mammoth Resort. These are both drive your own Corvette activities, limited to 68 participants each and you must pre-register to participate. Seminars and a free guided scenic tour are part of the day's activities before caravanning to the 1869 Homestead B&B where guests will enjoy a dinner at the home of the Museum's executive director. A drive-in movie at the old fashioned Franklin Drive In caps off the evening and is free to dinner registrants. Registration to the excursions and dinners are required - so be sure to add these activities to your weekend plans when registering.
These exciting activities are in store for registered participants of this year's Corvette Forum Cruise-In. The event is co-hosted by Corvetteforum.com and the NCM.
