Teen Driving School Meeting Saturday, January 28th!!!

As you all know for the last year or so I have been trying to organize a "Teen driving school" for the club. Well as luck would have it all the pieces are falling into place. I have been able to hook up with an instructor who has vast experience at putting these type of programs together "AKA Miriam". She has sat down with myself and a few others within the club and put together a program that will be an absolute blast for all.

Without going too much into detail at this point we will be holding a meeting "Location Tentative upon approval" at Koons in the meeting room at 12 noon on Saturday January 28th. If this location is not available I will provide an alternate location ASAP. We will be going over all details and responsibilities at this meeting along with handing out registration flyers.

This school will be free to the first 50 teens that enroll along with 10 alternates. Thanks to Long and Foster "Member Howard Snook", Koons, and a few others. We will be looking for around 20 instructors, 8-10 cone setters, and 4-6 admin people for the day of the event.

If you are interested in helping out please let me know as soon as possible!!! I an working on the list of instructors as I speak. Hopefully we can get our two new publicity reps along for the ride also! :-)

Just so that everyone is aware, there will be representatives from several schools out to watch us and possibly ask us to help their school districts out in the future.

George I must be missing something cuz I can't find the signup form. I was talking with a guy I work with and his daughter has a learner's permit. He knows about me and the corvette club and after talkin to him about this he's very interested in getting his daughter in on this. I sent him the link to the forums but I wanted to hand him something, where can I find it?

Good News Guys! I just got off the phone with an offical from Loudon County and they are going to sennd a couple of people out to see what's going on and possibly donate the venues for future events! Along with getting Allstate insurance involved to get these kids a break on their on insurance! So it's important we have a real good showing! [;)]
